Technical services of general department for modernising justice annex to justice ministry managed on May 30 to achieve all technical tests relating to link 36 courts on national level with the Supreme Court. This system aims at allowing citizens living out of the capital Algiers to check the documents they need in court without coming to the city...

This way would enable to save money and time especially for those who live in southern Algeria, said Mr. Henni.

As for the confidentiality of exchanged data in the Intranet, Mr. Henni confirmed that the president of court is the first responsible for the information process between courts on local levels and the Supreme Court.

Mardi 14 Août 2007 -- Le ministère de la Justice sera bientôt équipé d’un backbone, un centre constitué d’un réseau à haut débit et qui sera l’épine dorsale pour le gros trafic de l’information déjà mis sur pied dans les cours et les tribunaux. Ce backbone, un système révolutionnaire, sera supporté par une technologie pointue et une forte bande passante sur des distances importantes, de telle façon à “fédérer” l’information depuis le ministère de la Justice jusqu’aux plus petites structures internes et externes. Avec cet équipement, le département de Tayeb Belaïz passe à la vitesse supérieure dans la modernisation de ses systèmes d’information, d’exploitation et de prestations de services.
