The 4th Sahara International Film Festival (Fisahara) will be held from April 11th-15th in the Sahrawi refugee camp of Dakhla. Some thirty films, including dramas on the Sahrawi issue, Africa, women, childhood and documentary films will be part of the programme. Spanish actors Carmelo Gomez, Javier Bardem and Daniel Bruhl, among others, have confirmed their participation, which aims to promote the culture of the Sahrawi refugee population and "raise awareness" of the situation and the problems of the Sahrawi population, organisers said. Ten Spanish films will take part in the official competition, including Pedro Almodovar's "Volver" and Guillermo del Toro's 2006 three-time Academy Award-winning Spanish language film "Pan's Labyrinth". The director of the top film will be awarded a white camel.
