1er festival culturel du théâtre amazigh en décembre à Batna

BATNA, Vendredi 2 Octobre 2009 -- Un premier Festival culturel national du théâtre amazigh sera organisé en décembre à Batna, a annoncé mardi le directeur du théâtre régional de cette ville et également commissaire de ce futur festival. Selon Mohamed Yahiaoui, cette manifestation instituée par le ministère de la Culture, constituera "un espace de compétition" ouvert aux troupes théâtrales d'expression amazighe activant à l'échelle nationale. Son objectif, ajoute la même source, est de "sensibiliser le grand public au théâtre amazigh, promouvoir, valoriser et développer le théâtre de création en langue amazighe tout en favorisant sa diffusion".

Algeria launches first Amazigh Theatre Festival

December 11, 2009 -- Algerian actors and playwrights gathered on Thursday (December 11th) at the renovated Batna theatre for the first National Festival of Amazigh Theatre, APS reported. The opening ceremony honoured actors Said Hilmi of Tizi Ouzou, Salim Souhali of Batna and Ali Bouras of Ghardaia for their contributions to Amazigh theatre.
