The training needs in the sector of finance have been estimated at some 20,000 employees and executives in various branches of the sector.

These branches include banks, taxes and customs over the 2006 to 2009 period, Finance Minister Mourad Medelci indicated on Saturday in Algiers.

Speaking to journalists during a visit at the Higher Institute of Management and Planning (ISGP), Medelci admitted that the executives and managers, in the sector of finance in particular, and the economic sector in general, have been "lagging behind" as regards planned management and futurology.
