Le groupe américain spécialisé dans la restauration rapide a entamé les premiers pas opérationnels pour la création d’une série de restaurants en Algérie. Le groupe a commencé à chercher les lots de terrains adéquats pour ses projets. Cette nouvelle initiative de l’opérateur américain intervient après l’échec d’un Algérien résidant aux Etats-unis, et après la décision du numéro un Européen « Quick » d’ouvrir une série de 20 restaurants, d’une valeur d’investissement de plus de 20 millions d’euros, avec une moyenne de deux millions d’euros par restaurant. Cette marque avait commencé ses activités, à la mi-mars à Alger, dans l’attente de l’ouverture d’un restaurant au courant de cet été.

Cette marque Américaine essaie, par ailleurs, d’élargir le champ de ses activités à travers plusieurs pays, notamment en Afrique du Nord, après le Maroc, elle vise désormais le marché Algérien et Tunisien.
