The third International Finance Forum (FIF) organised by the FIF association in partnership with the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, opened Monday (May 7th) in Algiers.

The two-day event focused on risk capital, bank management and other subjects, and aimed at promoting the modernisation of the Algerian financial system.

The forum was attended by international experts such as Daniel Crosby, American specialist in international commercial law, and Professor Dhafer Saidane from the University of Lille, who will conduct a conference on the re-organisation of Maghreb banks.

The forum also features an exhibition of next generation financial products and services, and several conferences on financing large projects, bank modernisation, micro-financing companies and computerised management.
