1,. when error messages 'The page cannot be displayed' appear for certain web pages, and block messengers and some e-mails, what is the problem?
2,. and how do you reset windows xp to how it was when you bought the computer, bearing in mind it came pre-installed and there is no disc.
Many Thanks in advance

i thought if it says 'the page cannot be displayed' then this is a problem with the server of that website and not the problem of the host computer?
Either the page has moved or there could be proxy errors and the server cannot cope with the pages- could be not sure just saying.

If you have a Windows license try tou http://www.microsoft.com and you might be able to download your cd from there then burn it.

If your problems with internet a solved then it's fine then forget my reply, otherwise answer me and I will try to guide u to how to sort this out. About AV, use kaspersky,or F-secure, norton is good but make your machine twice slower then it was before installing it. so I would go for kaspersky or f-secure, again if u have any problems obtaining one of them just let me know.

AVANT BROWSER is also a good one , i think the quickest.use AVG ANTIVIRUS, one of the best now,AVG free edition,to stop hackers you need a FIREWALL, the best is KERIO Firewall, good luck
