WinRar- zipping progs

salam all people,
i'm using winrar constantly, but i figured out that some files are not getting decreased that much!!!!
although winrar works great and i find some downloads might save the half size of the file (from 25mb to 14mb almost!!!).
how can i get the best of winrar???????

Or if there is a better prog just guide me for......

Salam Eyad.
It looks like your files are already compressed so no need to compress them with winrar or whatever tool you might want to use.
Yes files containing redondant data will give you a very high compression ratio like even 1/10.
Some file formats like JPEG for pictures and MPEG(or DivX, Xvid ..etc) for videos uses a very strong lossy compression so even if you try to RAR or ZIP them you wouldn't gain anything, and sometimes you might getting bigger sizes.
