Please stop speaking about e-learning in Algeria.I cannot recognise your center de formation a distance that is at a far distance of e-learning.
Don't think that when you upload PDF documents and distribute them for students through any educational platform is e-learning.
E-learning is a participative ,sharingand collaborative activity where the taecher and student construct the knowledge not anything imose onthem as you do.
For initiating the debate about the real e-learning email me.

salam ya lahbib,
Welcome to Algeria.com
Clearly you have strong opinions about e-learning in Algeria, but do not ask us to censor information that is being printed in Algerian media about the issue. Irrespective of what you think the situation on the ground is, there evidently is some development taking place and there are pilot projects in operation. If every trial was stopped because you thought it was useless there would be few prospects of development - unless you were elected king and took complete charge of the sector.
By all means give your views, but do not ask us to stop posting material here.

Never was/is my intention to ask you stop posting e-learning material in your respectful educational website.
Believe me,this is the first time when Iam pleased to find an Algerian Forum interested seriously in e-learning like you do.
But the problem is the wrong type mindset of our educators when discussing e-learning.
Let me explain:
Always when I initiate the debate with any Algerian colleague about introducing e-learning in our education Iwas smashed by administrative events that still think about e-learning in old ways or in transmitive approach and this cannot work with e-learning as it should be.
Reading your previous threads I have got the impression that the professionals directly related to the elaboration , participation and collaboration in e-learning in Algeria are not concerned.
In previous threads ,I read about a list of administrators speaking superficially about their performacences with their e-learning and for this reason spontenously decided to initial another debate about e-learning in Algeria .
May be I am stupid and I pretend that e-learning is different from what my colleagues in your previous threads think, but I hope that all of us educators and administrators may be one day understand what does mean e-learning today to help and prepare our students with new performances and 21st century skills to confirm their existance and find jobs in this new era where only multitasker and the holder of multi-degrees find non -permanent jobs.
The debate about the real practical authentic e-learning is open to let every Algerian benefit from it.
My Best Regards

No worries, akhi.
This is not actually an 'Algeria-based' website, but there is a lot of Algeria here. And I am not an Algerian myself - ana min al-3iraq - so I respect your 'local knowledge'.
I will come back to you later with a longer answer, the issue of e-learning is a broad one and there are many aspects to consider.
We will talk about it!

Dear Super Moderator,
In our Arabic literature we have a poet "Moutanabi" who says "Wa roba jahilen fi eljahalati yanamou" -the ignorant enjoys his/her ignorance"- this is our case not perticularly in Algeria but in all the Arab world .
Give me any serious educational website where you engage in a debate concerning leveraging our Arab education through e-learning or whatever IT tools that can improve our obsolete education.
Open any Arab educational website and tell me If it inspires you that the Arabs are really concerned by improving their education despite their $ billions and rich underused IT infrastructures .
In Algeria ,for example ,the stats say that in Algeria (35 millions inhabitants) mostly every Algerian has on his/her hands a handheld that can helds an e-learning platform like in Indonasia that permits him/her to learn.
In Algeria the subscripsion to ADSL is the less expensive in the Arab world ,however who are really subscribed is less than one per cent because as I said above WE ENJOY OUR IGNORANCE
Dear Arabic colleague,
Don't worry you can chat with me anytime you want because may be you are the only Arab-I exagerate-who is interested really to stop enjoying ignorance. I say that because no Arab educational executive care about what I say.
My Best Regards
