IBM, already present in 165 countries all over the world, is now set to open an office in Algiers.

"It is an important and rapidly expanding market", said Daniel Chaffrais, general manager of IBM for France, northern and western Africa, while announcing the opening of the new IBM office in Algiers.
"Algerian companies need new technologies, they must modernise themselves by innovating their products," said IBM Algeriās manager, Dziri Abdelatif, "and IBM will be able to support the country in its quick development".
After a training period in IBM schools, the staff hired in Algeria will be able to provide the necessary expertise belonging to the leading company in the sector of IT solutions and services, Abdelatif added.

Programmes for human resources management, accountancy and company management will be among the products presented by the U.S. company.
