Twitter Banned in the United Arab Emirates
After blocking Skype and Flickr, the UAE has now banned Twitter in the country, because its content is
"inconsistent with the religious, cultural, political and moral values of the United Arab Emirates".
Twitter now joins the lauded halls of the sites banned for presumably speaking too freely,
even though it has no content per se.
