Stage 6 gone!

Hey guys,

Like most high-speed Internet users I enjoy watching a good video online or sharing one with the rest of the world. The problem with most media upload sites (youtube, youku, google video ..Ect) the quality of the videos is horrible and most of the time the buffering is so slow that it ruins the experience. A few months ago I found out about stage6.com witch allow users to upload DVD quality DivX videos. But of course all good things never last long, stage6 has officially shut down their network and posted a disclaimer on their site Stage6 · Upload Video Clips. Share, Watch, Download Videos stating the reason. They say that it is mostly due to financial issues, however I am having a hard time buying that one. I think that a site with almost as many users as youtube can easily find a sponsors, don’t you? Well if anyone has an idea of why the site is REALLY shutting down, please share your knowledge.
