Background
The technopole of Sidi Abdallah is situated at 30 km western south of Algiers. This site covers a surface of 1,870 hectares through the municipalities of Mahelma and Rahmania. It comprises three technology parks, which will be able to accommodate firms specialized in advanced technologies, and an industrial park:

International cooperation
The World Bank has started in 2002 an ICT Development Support Project in cooperation with the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications with the aim of creating an enabling environment and improve access to efficient and affordable ICT services, facilitate private sector development growth in ICT sector; improve the competitiveness of local ICT companies; and foster the efficiency of government in delivery of services. Among these aims the project intends to support also the development of new ICT companies through the so-called "Net-enterprise" development program. The programme envisages support to the set-up of the CyberPark and an incubation facility, "Technobridge Incubator" with the technology park to support ICT R&D initiatives and/or start-up companies with innovative projects; to set a seed capital R&D grants mechanism to support IT start-ups and innovative SMEs and providing institutional development support to the Institut National des Telecommunications (INT) and to the Ecole Centrale des Postes et Telecommunications to renew its curricula and courses on ICT management and cyberentrepeneurship. Le cyberparc de Sidi Abdallah :
Une vingtaine de porteurs de projets installés à l'incubateur de la nouvelle ville

Mercredi 19 Mai 2010 -- Environ 20 porteurs de projets ont été installés lundi au niveau de l'incubateur du cyberparc de Sidi Abdallah, dans le but de concrétiser leurs projets et en faire profiter l'économie nationale. Les projets choisis concernent essentiellement le e-commerce, e-paiement, e-santé, e-learning, e-éducation et autres. L'installation (de ces porteurs de projets) illustre parfaitement cette volonté de réunir toutes les conditions à même de favoriser l'émergence d'une société algérienne de l'information où les technologies de l'information et de la communication (TIC) seront mises à profit pour une vie meilleure, tant en milieu urbain que rural", a souligné le ministre de la Poste et des Technologies de l'information et de la communication, Hamid Bessalah, qui a présidé la cérémonie.

مؤسسة ''غلوم'' قدمت مشاريعها في تحديد المواقع جغرافيا
حظيرة سيدي عبد الله تطلق نداء ثانيا للمؤسسات للمشاركة في المحضنة

أطلقت الوكالة الوطنية لدعم وتطوير الحظائر المعلوماتية نداء ثانيا لمختلف المؤسسات المتخصصة في التكنولوجيات الحديثة، لتقديم مشاريعها والاستفادة من المساعدات التي تمنحها محضنة الحظيرة المعلوماتية بسيدي عبد الله.

وقد منحت الحظيرة المعلوماتية المؤسسات مهلة لغاية 30 نوفمبر القادم، من أجل تقديم مشاريعهم ليتم دراستها قبل قبولها نهائيا للدخول للمحضنة بداية من شهر جويلية .2011 وتعد هذه الدفعة الثانية من المؤسسات التي ستدخل للمحضنة بعد المناقصة الأولى التي نظمتها المحضنة بداية السنة، تدخل كلها في إطار تطبيق إستراتيجية الجزائر الإلكترونية.

من جهة أخرى، فقد قدمت مؤسسة ''غلوم''، أمس، بمقر محضنة الحظيرة المعلوماتية بسيدي عبد الله، مختلف التكنولوجيات التي يمكن أن توفرها في السوق الجزائرية، والمتعلقة خاصة بتقنية تحديد المواقع جغرافيا. وهي المؤسسة التي خلقت في إطار محضنة سيدي عبد الله، بعد أن تمت الموافقة على مشروعها خلال النداء الأول، الذي أطلقته الحظيرة المعلوماتية وبدأت في العمل في جوان الماضي. وأشار السيد حمزة بن زروق، المدير المسير لمؤسسة غلوم في تصريح لـ''الخبر''، أن أكبر مشكل تعاني منه تقنية تحديد المواقع جغرافيا في الجزائر هو غياب خرائط مدققة، بالإضافة إلى التغييرات التي تطرأ دائما فيما يتعلق بإشارات المرور. وأكد ذات المتحدث أن التكنولوجيا موجودة في الجزائر، ولكن لا بد من تدخل كل المؤسسات من أجل وضع خرائط لمختلف أحياء المدن الجزائرية. مؤكدا أن هذا يتطلب وقتا طويلا ولن يكون تطبيقه سريعا.
