100% agree with both statements.
Here are some of Murphy's laws for love:

- All the good ones are taken.
- The amount of love someone feels for you is inversely proportional to how much you love them.
- Every kind action has a not-so-kind reaction.
- Availability is a function of time. The minute you get interested is the minute they find someone else.


I'd add another one:
- If you seriously think these laws are true than u definitely lack self-confidence
