Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone might be able to give me a good recipe for making savoury bourek (I have no idea whether I have spelt that right). I made them during Ramdan last year (according to some recipe that I made up as best as I could) and they were lovely but I want to make them as typically "Algerian" as I can as my husband won't be going back to Algiers at all this year from Ramadan.
If anyone has any other easy Algerian recipe ideas for Ramdan that I could use then that'd be appreciated too. I already make chorba but anything else typically Algerian would be cool.
Thanks in advance for any replies

Lahm Lhalou. Very easy and DELICIOUS. Google it or go to www.bookofrai.com where Farid Zadi has a great recipe for it, as well as Bourek. I made the Lahm Lhalou using his recipe and it turned out AMAZING!!! :-)
