I would say it is an ingeneous instrument.
Chopsticks hold food pieces with sideways pressure.
The food piece can slip and fall.
The fork, on the other hand, pierces the food piece which is held by the friction between the metallic fork and the food piece.
Some food items such as leaf salad is difficult to be eaten with a fork, but can be held by the pincer action of the sticks.
This instrument ingeneously combine the two actions of the fork and the chopstick.
Use this instrument first to pierce the food piece and then squeze like tongs to hold it.
It will give a firm grip of the food piece.
It cannot slip and fall.
Actually this instrument can be patented.
The inventor can make millions by selling the rights to manufacture!
