    Salam Alaikum
I have visited Algeria this year with my husband whos Algerian. I love the country very much. The food was the best i've had I can see why my husband likes it alot. I would really like some recipes so that i can try here in England. I am sure my husband would be really happy to have some Algerian food. Thanks

    Dear Yazza2,

    Wa 'alaikumus as-salam

I have only just read your post today, and I know that is late, but I assume that you are still cooking ( ! ) There are actually a great number of cookbooks out there on African, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking, but a couple really good ones are Mourad Mazouz's "A Gastronomic
Journey through Northern Africa," and Copeland Marks' " The Great Book of Couscous: Classic cuisines or Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia."

Also, for a quick fix, there are several good recipe websites, among the best is one called "Arab Slice," which can be accessed at http://www.arab.de/arab/Cool/more2.html.

I do have several more books which I can recommend, if you are interested still, and cannot find anything to your liking in the ones I have mentioned.

    Have fun experimenting,

    Best regards,

    Addison
