I made Lamb Biryani and I had lots of compliments

The taste was beautiful and my husband enjoyed it very much . that was one dish that i did not master before , now it is easy

It is a Dish with spicy cubes of Lamb (or chicken ) and rice together with saffron and almonds and a small handful of raisins . I added Boiled eggs and a few potatoes too as hubby likes them. It is a nice dish usually used during Eid and Special days and when people receive Guests .

Oh i Love pastilla , the girl who lived with us in Casablanca for 5 years used to make one to die for ! huge ones , i miss them. I know how to make them but never really bothered as hubby and kids wont toutch pastilla . so it is too much hard work for just myself . Hubby ate it at people s home because he had to but he was not fond of .
Mom in Algeria made it a couple of times during Ramadan .
