Do Algerians drink Hibiscus tea?

I was wondering do Algerians (like Egyptians) drink Hibiscus tea (kerkady) I have been invited around someone's house for dinner and I was wondering if it would be appropriate to take some Kerkady Tea round?

Algerians do know and drink Hibiscus tea, although I am not sure how popular it is in Algeria. It is sold there, and Algerians know it as karkadé. Here's a recipe from someone with Annaba roots:

Karkadé (Hibiscus)

Pour 6 persons, facile préparation : 5 min infusion : 15 min

• 3 poignées de fleurs d'hibiscus (séchées)

• 1 litre d'eau bouillante

• sucre (selon goût)

• Dans une théière préchauffée, placez trois poignées de fleurs d'hibiscus séchées,
versez par dessus l'eau bouillante, sucrez et laissez infuser 15 mn au minimum.

• Passez le liquide au chinois afin d'en retirer les fleurs.

• Transvasez dans un flacon et mettez au frais
