I shouldn't got into this thread again, it puts pressure on my stomachActually I am from the center, Algiers, but still like the Hrira.. ya know, we import Khefaf and Hrissa from tunisia, and Hrira from Morroco, when it comes to food, we r open minded
Actually Dolma, Bourak and the like are from Turkey, so the algerian food is a mixture of African/Arab/Turkish/French/.......... food. I told u, when it comes to food, we r very open minded, stomach obliges

Harira is the best. Especially during Ramadhan, because it has so much protein and it helps give you a boost when you have been fasting all day. I don't really know if Harira is originally from Morocco, but ppl from the western side of Algeria consider it their traditional dish. Like Abdu said, who cares! It tastes slammin' jammin'.
