It’s a love/hate halwa made with honey & flour and decorated with seasame seeds. A well known halwa in Ramadan in Morocco.
Take a glance :
In DZ, do you have anything as similarly sweet ?
I’ve un-yet, mastered the patience in making them.

I agree that it's a love/hate sweet lol. I never acquired the taste really.
The making is so time-consuming, it's usually made in weddings and Eid!
The Algerian recipe is slightly different from the Moroccan version - less spices-. Although at home, the way we make it is similar to the Moroccan one, a lot richer and tastier.

Salam Sisters ~
LOL @ Griwech ! {{sorry
}}
When I was younger, I really disliked this halwa, so much. Now, my taste buds are some what acquiring to the sweetness of honey.
At the moment, I’m needing a sugar fix in the morning
. And for the last week, I’ve been eating brown toast dipped in honey :eek
Hmmm, do our taste buds mature with our age perhaps ?
