Ingredients
For ~ 28 pieces
* 14 filo pastry sheets
* 250 g almonds
* 150 g sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
* 2 tablespoon orange flower water
* 25 g butter
* Oil
* 100 g honey
* 1 egg yolk
Preparation
Fry one 1/4 of the almonds then mix with the remaining 3/4 of almonds, sugar and orange flower water. Put in a food processor and smooth into a homogenous mix.
Mix with cinnamon and butter
Put a second time in the food processor and smooth into a firm mix.
Divide into small balls
Cut each filo pastry sheet into 2. Put a small ball of almond stuffing and form a triangle like you’d do for bouraq. Brush a bit of egg yolk to make the borders stick together.
Fry in very hot oil on both sides then coat with warm honey.
Or shape differently:

Only on a certain halwa

I can't remember a name of this other halwa, it's a crescent shape coated in icing sugar, stuffed with almond also.
Does this ring any bells with you ?
