good reply although I dont eat ungly stuff to be honest because it looks unsevilised, dirty, messy, not polie, no manners, not sophisticated.

Lol, I dont mean the pic above is all this, but you get what I mean. I like tidy food

    ~ Jumm’uah Mubarak all ! ~

    Choukrane ~ Amina ~

I think this halwa, looks really tasty, but then again it is lawz

And guess what? We call them GHORIBA= Macroons

The only difference in the ingredients when I cook them is yeast, zest of a lemon and I hull and chop Almonds instead of ground Almond.

When serving, I decorate the Ghoriba, with some icing sugar, rather than coating them with icing sugar then placing them in the oven.

    Kassawess

I hear what your saying, presentation is a real must for cuisine, especially in the North of Africa, when the art of presenting a meal involves firstly, hospitality

I think the above halwa, would look more appetising, if they were made smaller. What do you think of the below GHORIBA ?

Same recipe, just with yeast and lemoon !

Okhti Houda I think your dish looks fabulous. However I have never seen something like this. Even the ones we make at home I don`t know the names, I just eat
Also, I think your cakes and Amina`s cakes are basically the same, which I have never eaten. However we do have cakes like this but with tens of different toppings.

Generally I dont like this class of cakes because its really dry. I prefer succulent cakes. But everybody likes them at home.

So can you make me some really succulent wet cakes and send them to me Ayya kouni fahla trash

Why choukrane ~K~ glad you liked it.

LOL ~@ I just eat, rajel ! You sound like the rajel in my family !

Khoya, this cake is not dry, on the contrary, the filling is like an almond paste, nice and moist in the inside, it’s just that the exterior looks hard and possibly dry.

But hey, that why Khti, ~ Amina ~ recommended Mint Tea, to soak the halwa down your throat.

I was going to post a recipe on Feqas, but I don’t think I’ll bother now

As for your wet cakes Sidi, you like cream ?
