Saha Fortunato you know I read the same article and couldn’t believe it at the time!!!
Not only the prices people have to pay for food are too much for most of them they are asked to buy Bio as well!

Add to that the American-based biotechnical industry is jeopardizing life on this planet. Bio food is being boycotted in the world and the US keeps defending the thesis of greedy, reckless capitalists: the advantages is simply that the companies would make bigger profits. nobody has ever tried to claim that there is an advantage to the health of consumers.

And now, an Algerian Minister advises people to buy bio food!!!! what does he know about it anyway??? It could merely be a political move!

I thought the comment by the journalist was funny when he said give him ‘le panier' and budget of a woman and ask him to "simply" feed her 5 toddlers!!

    Hi fortuna,

Wash hakma? I hope that you are joking because everybody knows what bio means.
In Algeria, we eat bio by buying fresh food everyday in the market from farmers. My family never buys veg of fruit off-season, The choice can be limited if you eat only what in season but it taste better because it is natural, it has no chemical treatment.we can for example just rinse the fruits and eat it with the skin. The only problem it does not look shiny or the same sizes as the pesticides grown food that’s all.

If BIO mean eating natural, and if we anyway east that daily, the question is than "Why the Algerians minister ask us to do what we do everyday?
