Le premier concours dit Coupe d’Algérie du pain aura lieu les 24, 25 et 26 mars et sera clôturé par une cérémonie de remise des prix qui se déroulera à l’hôtel Hilton (Alger) le 29 mars prochain. Des concours régionaux ont déjà eu lieu. La compétition entre dans le cadre de la préparation de la Coupe du monde du pain qui se tiendra en France en 2008.
La sélection algérienne, une sorte d’EN, sera dégagée lors de ce concours. Une sélection qui nous consolera et fera oublier les contre-performances de l’équipe de football.

Russian President’s recent visit to Algeria not only sealed a $7.5 billion military equipment deal, but also gained Russian companies such as Lukoil and Gazprom a monopoly right to oil production in the Sahara Desert. Algeria is Africa’s third nation in oil reserves after Libya and Nigeria.
It is likely that the proceeds from exploiting the energy fields will be split between the Russian producers and Algeria, giving Algiers a revenue stream with which to pay the remaining cash element of the deal....
