A judge in Spain has indicted 32 people accused of planning to detonate a truck bomb at Madrid's National Court, the hub of the country's anti-terror investigations.

Algeria is extremely committed to be instrumental in the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, Foreign Minister Mohamed Bedjaoui declared yesterday in algeria.
Algeria's contribution is intended to "allow all the States, in particular developing countries, to enjoy the use of sciences and space technology, especially to reduce the digital divide between North and South," he pointed out at the opening of a seminar on international space law and national legislation.

Algeria is “firmly” committed to work for an international “fruitful” cooperation in the field of water, Water Resources Minister Abdelmalek Sellal stressed Monday in Mexico during 4th World Water Forum.
“Algeria, which grants a great importance to water question, is determined to set up mechanisms of sincere North/South and South/South partnership based on peoples’ mutual interests,” he declared in his address. It is also committed “to work for an international fruitful cooperation capable of efficiently promoting the improvement of citizens’ living conditions,” he added.

President Thabo Mbeki is scheduled to arrive in Algeria tomorrow for a one-day working visit following his state visit to Italy.
His delegation will include Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, the foreign affairs minister, and Mandisi Mpahlwa, the trade and industry minister, Ronnie Mamoepa, the foreign affairs spokesperson, said in a statement today.
Mbeki's Italian visit saw meetings with his counterpart Carlo Ciampi, the Algerian president, and a business forum comprising South African and Italian business executives.
