"The end of poverty" by Jeffrey Sachs describes how the World Bank and the IMF which are supposed to decrease the poverty rate and improve the states solvability fail to do their job because controlled by big banks, rich states and bit multinationals....
Africa being in a poverty trap can't get out of it without the rich world help.... We are still waiting but is altruism compatible with international policies?!
