Holocaust cartoon exhibition opens in Iran

Jewish leaders, Paris slam Iran Holocaust cartoon show

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The Israeli government, Jewish groups and the mayor of Paris on Thursday condemned an Iranian exhibition of cartoons on the Nazi Holocaust, accusing Tehran of spreading hatred and trivialising the murder of six million Jews.

The "humour" and "wit" on offer

Ariel Sharon, the incapacitated former Israeli Prime Minister, is wearing an SS uniform. A man with Jewish side locks is depicted as a vampire drinking from a container marked 'Palestinian blood'. An Arab figure is impaled to the ground by the absurdly long nose of a man in a black hat characteristic of orthodox Jews and marked 'Holocaust'.

    Needless to say...

... It's also getting rave reviews all over the various neo-nazi forums, to which I won't provide links because of their racist and anti-semitic content.

The carton are supposed to be Funny and not politicaly correct; these who are taking it seriously will never understand...

You know many years ago, many religions forbid the "humour", because they claim that: The more you smile more you get distant from god, and more you are scare more you are close to God....

    "All about fun"?

Farid Mortazavi, graphics editor for Tehran's Hamshahri newspaper, said that the deliberately inflammatory contest would test out how committed Europeans were to the concept freedom of expression.

"The Western papers printed these sacrilegious cartoons on the pretext of freedom of expression, so let’s see if they mean what they say and also print these Holocaust cartoons," he said

TEHRAN: An exhibition of more than 200 cartoons about the Holocaust has opened as Iran's response to last year's Muslim outrage over a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad in a Danish newspaper.

The display, showing 204 entries from Iran and abroad, was strongly influenced by the views of Iran's hard-line President Ahmadinejad, who called the Holocaust a ``myth."

ooo, that's wrong. They shouldn't draw cartoons like that in revenge for the danish cartoons. That's retarded... they're just showing the world that this is a game of "tag ur it"....
