    Conakry, Guinea, July 20, 2007:
A student revises for his school exams under the lights of G'bessi airport's car park.
Only about a fifth of Guinea's 10 million people have access to electricity

    that's really depressing
It seems as if one fails to conceive
The meaning my name strives to achieve

To a biological form you cannot relate-
Because a reproductive cell is a gamete not gamate!

It means to unite, -to become consolidated
So without me in a.com, is there hope we'd be amalgamated?

Hong Kong, China, August 10th 2007:
A 'cage home' resident in Kowloon. At a time when the Hong Kong economy is roaring ahead,
and the majority of the city's population are enjoying increasing prosperity,
there are still some estimated 1.2 million people living below the poverty line.
The monthly rent for a bed cage in this 300 sq ft room with 11 cages, no kitchen facilities,
a shared bathroom and toilet is HK$1,000 (93.27 euros) per month
