    April 20, 2011 -- A Sidi Bouzid court on Tuesday (April 19th) dropped all charges against the policewoman who allegedly slapped Mohamed Bouazizi just before his self-immolation ignited the Tunisian revolution. The case against Fédia Hamdi was dismissed after Bouazizi's family withdrew their original complaint. "I leave things in the hands of God, and it is enough to just see that the martyrdom of Mohamed resulted in freedom and the departure of tyrants," TAP quoted his mother as saying.
