Can someone please explain the credibility of the Dollar System crisis? Is it true or exaggerated?

The F. William Engdahl article you link to is actually from October 2006, and even then it was a reproduction of a talk he gave in Austria in September 2003. So in some respects it is 'out of date' now, having been overtaken by events, but the economic crash that did occur is not unconnected with the warnings that Engdahl was giving and his article is a good background.
