Salaam everybody,

I just moved to Spain for some time .. and I neither speak nor understand Spanish.
My work will be in english, but ... still the life is outside..
so, are there any algerians living there in this forum ?
is this an active forum (I know this question is strange and maybe even impolite .. but I'm new ) ?

Don't worry, there are Algerians living here, insha'allah it won't be long before you're feeling 'home away from home'.

The site is busy but we do have a lot of shy people, at present there are some 104 people roaming around the place (over 300 if we count Googlebots and similar creatures). The place has had a makeover recently, so there are more areas to explore.

Atakor was a name chosen by an Algerian rock band, I don't know if the group is still in existence. Souad Massi sang with them briefly.

A question came to my mind now; do we remember (and long for) the land itself (Algiers, Algeria, Annaba, Atakor,... whatever) or just the interactions we had on that land with people ?
