    w/salam, ya Karen,

Word in the souk is that Mayissa may be back tomorrow, so if you can be patient just a little longer I am sure that she'll answer your supplementary question as well as she can.

I forgot to mention, the common wealth has moved from London to Milton Keynes. And is now £28 per document.

Would you know if it makes a difference in the process when children are involved? We did marry in the Mosque and have the certificate to prove this, since our marriage a few years back we have had 2 children. I am concerned that I will have to fly back with the kids, and still manage to maintain my work, it would be easier if we both came back as he looks after our children, or the other option is the children staying with my husband, which is hard for a mother to do.

    Salam alekum

are you there Kaz I can help advise quickly

You can do it by post which is much cheaper but if you have a time limit best to do it in person

Your Children with your husband should not affect your marriage in Algeria, however I would advise to also provide your children’s birth certificates as well as certified and translated into French/Arabic in Algeria as you can register them into the Family Book in Algeria which you will need when making your application for your husbands spouse visa, I am afraid I do not know much about Paternity tests but this will come in extremely handy when making your application for a Visa.....In regards to the Mosque marriage use this as evidence of an on going relationship but it is not considered a legally binding marriage in either Algeria nor the UK. There might not be a possibility of him immediately returning to the UK when you make your application, so you might have to return without him. I suggest you speak to a legal advisor in your area you can get this information from the CAB office local to you. If you need any further help let me know

    Ma Salama
