Moving to Algeria

I am 24, English and married to an Algerian. My wife and I are planning to move there next month. We are coming to Algiers on the 23rd for a week to submit my residency application. I am looking for advice on everything from work opportunities to housing. I speak fluent French and Spanish and beginner level Arabic but I am hoping to vastly improve it soon.

Please let me know if anyone has any advice

Housing is problematic, but there is a thread here on property in Algeria that gives information on how things are, employment is equally tough, but perhaps you might have some luck with British/American enterprises implanted in Algeria.

As for advice - listen to N. and do as she advises and you should be OK
