It seems to me that you have exactly the same problem that I and other Algerian girls here (in the UK ) have i.e. we think that there are not enough or there are hardly any men that can make good husband material. It is interesting that you are asking your mum to look for a girl for you. May I say that this is the typical scenario of our men abroad: either marry some blond European or ask the mother to find a girl for them.

I just wanted to ask you... Hmmmm what do you expect me to do? I got the impression u didnt like the fact that algerian men abroad ask their mothers to find them a gurl since you compared it to marrying a blond european which of course i have no interest in.
What do u suggest we do... go around dating women to find the right one for us? nah this is of course neither part of our culture nor our religion elhamdoulilah.

hey, maybe you algerian men should stop and think what algerian girls have to go through, everytime im in algeria i dread going out, first of all its the stares we recieve eyes all over ud even when we are decently dressed minding our own buisness, also the constant psssssssssssst everywere we go, i think you mistake us for cats, and then you have theses pathetic little cheesy chat up lines that if you hear u will cringe!!! seriously it might be flattering once or twice but after that its just soo annoying, so if we ignore you and act like your not there or in other cases shout at you down the street and make a scene(just to embarras you) try and understand that before you there was another hundred b4 so obviously we guna get ticked off an have a bad attitude towards u,,,,,, if it helps keep your thoughts in ur head and just imagine u sed watever it is you wanted to say that way none gets hurt xx
