Amman, Feb.18 (Petra)— A Jordanian medical team headed by the Director of the Health Ministry Tourism Medical Treatment Department Rateb Hennawi concluded a visit to Algeria to conduct cardiac surgeries for Algerian children and train Algerian physicians in the field of child cardiac diseases. The delegation looked into the technical capability of a number of Algerian hospitals and studied dozens of cases of Algerian patients on the waiting list to come to Jordan. They also reviewed an annex that shows the cost of surgical operations based on the medical cooperation agreement concluded between the two countries in 1997. Algerian media highlighted the advanced level of health services in Jordan and the highly qualified Jordanian medical teams, which makes Jordan one of the most important countries in Tourism medical treatment.
