actually sania dear, oxytocin is commonly referred to as the 'cuddle chemical'. It is a hormone that is mainly produced in large quantities by the body when a mother bares a child. at the time she nurses, she caresses and hugs her baby close to her. these behaviors come naturally as a result of that rise in oxytocin hormone. Men also get a rise in oxytocin levels whenever they hold their children or cuddle with their loved ones.
