just wondering if there's an institute of paleontological studies in algeria? is there any place in internet where someone can read about the findings made in Algeria???
i just came cross a big rock in North East Algeria which has some ancient walking footprints on it, they look like a dinosaur footprint but not sure! the rock is from cretaceous period according to the geological map
any input is appreciated!

Salam,
Welcome to Algeria.com.
I don't know if there is any dedicated unit in Algeria that includes paleontologists, but in the distant past Algeria has been home to dinosaurs (no comments about contemporary politicians) >>> and dinosaur remains have been found there <<<. The last such find was reported to the Department of Culture, so presumably official responsibility for documenting and arranging the examination of such finds lies there.
