Mohammed Harbi is ok but I never liked Benjamin stora's books. He gives the facts ok, but he interprets them and his interpretation is not 100% true to me.
I suggest u read "l'Algerie des Algeriens" de Mahfoud Keddache, une mine.
No need for another book on DZ after this one, sorry![]()

Well books that draw comaprisons between Iraq and DZ seem to be very attractive/lucrative... I will try and get hold of the book you srecommended... AND I advise you to never read Bassam Al3ussali's books on DZ war... I wasted precious time of my life reading 14 of his books... just to realise that they were rubbish... I was 16 so I did not know better then

Hehe I see. Well if u wanna make money call yourself a strategy specialist and write a book on islam in europe, islam and terro, islam and the pope, islam and women, islam and israel...etc
The book of keddache is an ensemble of 4 books, worth 40 Euros, reissued three years ago, otherwise c t introuvable. And now it is not easy to find it as the author died a few months back Allah yarahmou and his books go comme des petits pains!
That book goes from antiquity to 1830 or 1954, i don't remember, then he has two other books covering the rest... Algerian Best historian everAvant d'ecrire il faut savoir lire,

Azul Mnarvi,
You remind me of Sifaoui who became a specialist of the Terror networks in Europe and of "La these du qui tue qui? I guess the guy finally got his "Carte de sejour de 10 ans"

"I came, I abused, I got banned"
