Jugurtha [jOOgūr'thu]
Pronunciation Key
Jugurtha , c. 156104 B.C., king of Numidia, a grandson of Masinissa. On the death of Micipsa (118 B.C.), the royal power devolved upon his two sons and upon his adopted son Jugurtha. The latter ousted the other two heirs and united Numidia under his rule. In the process, however, some Italians were murdered, leading Rome to invade Numidia; peace was reestablished in 111 B.C. Jugurtha, on a visit to Rome to explain his acts, ordered a rival murdered. War was resumed, and the Romans under Quintus Caecilius Metellus Numidicus gained some notable successes. Under a new commander, Caius Marius, the Romans continued to apply pressure on Jugurtha, who was being supported by his father-in-law, Bocchus, king of Mauretania. Jugurtha was captured (106 B.C.) when Bocchus betrayed him, and he was put to death in prison in Rome.
I have to add that his two small kids was executed too, and walked in rome for 16 hours as a paradise organized by Marius......

Annibal:
Too brief but fair. He had been the Prince who none in Rome dared defy in intelligeance or combat, be it Soldier or Senator. His bringing of spain and the Gaule into becoming Roamin and latin provinces that brought the two out of savagery. All he lived for was to get Numedia out of the Union back into its soverenety. He has defeated romans armies in more than a dozen battles. He is the main contributor to the fall of Rome, as were the Numedian Armies the main contributors to the rise of it. The same happened with the Arabs, as soon as a wall is build like the wall of berlin that separates north Africa from middle-east, the later will fall pieces !
Hope you're over all those disputes about CasaBlanca and KKK.
That was something !
J.
