Fethi Tabet was born in Algeria in the early fifties. He realized very young that music was his chief passion and quickly became a reference of the French musical scene, then of the international one, as instrument-maker, percussionist and player of a French traditional instrument, the “vielle”. His music is greatly inspired by a wide variety of influences, be it French, Spanish, Moroccan or sub-saharian, thus creating warm, powerful and colorful compositions. His inimitable voice allows him to portray life with emotion and humor, traveling through different musical styles from North and sub-saharian Africa, as well as South America and the Mediterranean. As part of their South African tour, we are happy to invite you to a fantastic concert based on warm melodies using the luth, the guitar, the violin, saxophones, and based on powerful percussions and voices.
Concert on March 22, at 8:00pm
at Tings n’times 1062 Arcadia Street, Hatfield, Pretoria
