October 19, 2009 -- Morocco's 4th National Amazigh Film Festival opened in Ouarzazate on Sunday (October 18th). Film screenings in the city's Taourirt casbah and neighbouring towns during the week-long event include Tamazirt Ouffela by director Mohamed Mernich, Abika by Mahjoub Ibourk, Tabrats by Ali Ait Bouzid and Id Belâadim by Said Bahhous, Yacout Info reported. Ouarzazate's annual celebration of Berber cinema and culture includes film criticism workshops at the Institute of Cinema Careers and tributes to artists Fatima Joutane and Id Abderahmane Bourhim.
