Such is the wonder of the evolution of language.
But, as I see it, like in all walks of life, some kind of regulation is required especially for "formal" written and spoken language.
Otherwise,
Imagine if all was let loose and all communications were in the form of "fermi el-bab ya khouya"...in all the languages of the world!
People outside the "circle" will have an awful hard time decoding what you're trying to say, not to mention that you will have a near impossible task of understanding anything spoken, written or typed (including this forum)
P.S. I'm light-years away from being a purist. Au contraire!
