Ah! che peccato! (what a shame!)
I was thinking about joining a course but the same old problem comes up: lack of time
so I'm learning it by myself at the moment and I enjoy it very much.
Actually, I find it quite easy especially if you already have a good background in french and/or spanish.
And now I'm hoping to find someone with whom I can practice my broken italian

You must be joking
learning nihongo noway.
As I have been here for over a year I started to study but I have given up on this horrible, ugly language.
Katakana, hiragana, Kanji and god knows what else. I get by using romanji.
I have learned that life is too short to spend years trying to figure out a sentence…lol
Beside most foreigners I met here do not bother learning nihongo
Time to go back home pour moi

Zina! Konnichiwa!
Actually nihongo is not that hard to speak, is it? writing it is another story.
So you've given up?
What a shame! Come on, tell me. You wouldn't feel that way if you were successful would you?
See it as fun! I think you need japanese friends to change your mind
Go on...where's you're sense of adventure?
So tell me, you are in/have been to Japan?
