Hey could someone help with my arabic? In a word like Seearah, with the h at the end, to you pronounce it as a "t" when adding a short vowel because of case...like "seeara+t+u(or any short vowel)?" Thanks if you can help

Well for the word "Seerah" in Arabic, it is spelt with a "t" at the end not an "h". If you use the word on its own, the "t" could be pronounced or it could be mute (which you referred to as "h"). However, if you put it in a sentence then it should always be pronounced as "t" be it before a vowel or a consonant.

Yes as Amina said, and when you make a break after pronouncing the word, such as you need to have a breath, you could always ignore the "T" in most arabic words.

Yes exactly Like the "s" of the plural in French which is mute but pronounced if before a vowel!

    Hi Kenny,
Just for the record, no one say "seearah" in algeria (except those addicted to egyptian movies)we rather call it "tonobil" which is obviously eaisier to pronoune ..

    Easy

    That's nice
But I'm not sure if he meant "Sayara" wich means cars. Even egyptians dont say it, they say: 3arabia (arabia) instead.
