Yes there is a connection in the names

Nigerians took the name of Algeria and altered an Ni for the AL in Algeria
Thats how we have Algeria and Nigeria WITH A CONNECTION BETWEEN THEM

This still happens to me allll the time; so now whenever I'm asked I say "I'm from algeria in north africa" like tht they don't ask me if it's nigeria ... that is if they know nigeria is not in north africa...Originally posted by La-Casbah_com
