    Algérie : Visa refusé à Jamel Debbouze

    L'acteur devait présenter samedi soir à Alger le film "Indigènes".
    Son visa a été refusé pour un motif non précisé.
    Le visa demandé par le comédien Jamel Debbouze pour venir présenter en Algérie son film "Indigènes" a été refusé, a fait savoir samedi soir 7 octobre à Paris le producteur du film Jean Bréa. Le refus de visa a été confirmé à Alger par Caroline Aymard, chargée de la promotion du film.
    Selon le producteur, les raisons de ce refus n'ont pas été indiquées par les autorités algériennes.
    Une demande de visa pour l'Algérie avait été déposée il y a une dizaine de jours par Jamel Debbouze qui devait venir présenter ce film sur les anciens combattants
    coloniaux, dans lequel il a l'un des rôles principaux,
    à la population d'Alger samedi soir, à l'Algeria,
    l'une des plus grandes salles de cinéma de la capitale algérienne.
    Le réalisateur du film Rachid Bouchareb a été cependant accueilli
    à Alger pour assurer la présentation de cette oeuvre,
    qui a grandement contribué à la décision de la France
    d'attribuer à tous les anciens combattants coloniaux
    la même pension que les Français.

    Well the same thing happened a few months back. This same djamel Debbouz said he was refused a visa to enter DZ for his one man show.
    Everybody knows this man is very close to king M6 and this is the game we usually see played between DZ and Morocco because of the Saharan conflict.
    No news here....

    Hi Mnarvi
    That doesn't make sense! why would his personal relationship with the king come in the way of his film promotion and work!!

    Maybe 'cos he's Jewish!! you know our governement's behaviour towards Jews! as far as they're concerned, they're all harka!!

    Shame !! Khaled and Mami are going in and out Morocco without any troubles. And the political point of views of Debbouz shouldnt have an effect on his relation with algeria...

    Nektar, are you sure Debbouz is jewish? ASAIK he's muslim, not a pious one, but he's better than a lot. Maybe you meant the other Gad el Maleh who is defintly a moroccan jewish, but he's one of the funniest actors I ever seen, better than debbouz IMO

    ps: I hope voltaire won't notice this thread.

    Oh man Gad el maleh is so funny , I think he is a great artiste
