Jeudi 27 Janvier 2011 -- Rachid Bouchareb semble décidemment bien plaire aux Américains. Le réalisateur s'offre un casting de rêve pour son prochain long métrage: la star Sienna Miller. L'actrice américaine campera le premier rôle de Just like a woman, un road movie réalisé entre le Kansas et le Nouveau mexique aux Etats-Unis. Le film se tournera en anglais. Avant cela, c'est à Hollywood qu'on verra Rachid Bouchareb. Son film Hors-la-Loi est en effet sélectionné dans la catégorie meilleur film étranger aux Oscars 2011. La cérémonie aura lieu le 27 février prochain.

Sienna Miller to star in Just like a woman

March 3, 2011 -- Stage and screen veteran Sienna Miller will headline the film Just like a woman, which begins filming in New Mexico in June, according to deadline.com. Rachid Boucherab, a 2011 Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Language Film for his Algerian film Outside the law, will direct the film, which casts Miller as a Chicago housewife who runs off to Las Vegas with her belly-dancing instructor to enter a dance competition. Miller begins performances of the Terrence Rattigan play Flare path in London's West End March 4. She appeared on Broadway in After Miss Julie and in the West End in As you like it. Film credits include Layer Cake, Alfie, Casanova, Factory Girl, The Interview, Stardust, Camille, The Edge of Love, Hippie Hippie Shake, G.I. Joe and Yellow. Television credits include Bedtime and Keen Eddie. Just like a woman will be produced by Tessalit and The Bureau. It is a co-production between the U.S., France and the U.K.
