Just out of curiosity what kind of job have you been offered? You don't need to be specific I just want to know if its a skilled job, and in which sector.
The reason I ask this is because jobs right now are very scarce over there and if you are living abroad and managed to find a job in Algeria then perhaps some of us here would like to know more….For example if the Job has been advertised in the media.
On the other hand if you are working as part of a diplomatic mission then please ignore my curious behaviour.
Finally I wish I could advise you on the security situation in Algeria with any degree of certainty but as far as I know the security situation has greatly improved in recent years, however we still hear of the occasional random violent incident in various parts of the country but as far as I know these incidents are mainly restricted to rural and isolated areas.
I hope this thread is helpful to you.
Thank you

I agree with Wassil when he wrote that jobs right now are very scarce in Oran. But, over the last few years, a good number of job opportunities are being offered thanks to the presence of international companies in that area.
