My hobby is 4X4 driving. I live in Alicante,Spain.
The quickest way to go to Tunisia (Douz) is going from Alicante with a ferry to Algiers.
My question: Is it safe to travel with two 4X4 cars from Algiers via Tebessa to Douz (Tunisia)?
Anyone???

its absolutely safe...
i was in algeria and traveled back and forth from algeirs to constantine.. and from constantine to tunisia...
its better to travel in the daytime than at night... (and that goes for anywhere)
you'll see alot of this on the road

Oh driving in Algeria is safe, but am not sure about driving in 4X4.
4X4 are a major target for road Bandits, I mean am talking in the south, not sure abotu the east though, but I would get advice from local police/Gendarmerie or something!Nectar77

4x4 is safer to drive than these chineese car "Sardine box", algeria road are very dangerous and full of crazy drivers....so you are safer (inchalah) when driving a 4x4 car,
as security issue are as called "bandits" that is a true rumours, Algeria is full of these Tuareg car 4x4 and so on....but you have to be carefull anyway I think you are safer being in a car than lets say "safer than the one without car
